Attendance Policy.

I am committed to creating an environment that encourages consistent engagement and dedication to learning. I understand that life can be unpredictable, but I also believe in the importance of commitment and responsibility as part of the learning process.

To ensure that all learners can benefit from a structured and reliable educational experience, I have established the following Attendance Policy:

  • Value of Time and Commitment: I believe in respecting the time and effort of both the educator and the learners. Consistent attendance is crucial for effective learning and progress.

    • First No-Show: I understand that mistakes and oversights happen. For your first no-show, there will be no charge, and I encourage you to continue your learning journey with renewed commitment.

    • Second No-Show: Should a second no-show occur, I ask you to reflect on your commitment to your learning journey. While there will still be no charge, I encourage open communication to discuss any challenges you might be facing. This is a crucial step to ensure that we are all on the same page and can work together effectively.

    • Third No-Show Plus: In the event of further no-shows, we will need to reassess our arrangement. This may include a charge for missed sessions, as consistent no-shows not only impact your learning but also the planning and resources dedicated to your education.

  • Communication is Key: If you anticipate being unable to attend a scheduled session, please inform me as soon as possible. Open communication helps me to be understanding and flexible, and where possible, I will accommodate rescheduling.

  • Reevaluation of Tutoring Arrangement: Multiple no-shows may lead to a conversation about whether this tutoring arrangement is the best fit. My goal is to support your learning, and that opportunity is lost with missed sessions.

  • Contact and Next Steps: If you find yourself in a situation where you might miss a session, or if you have already missed a session, please reach out to me directly at MisterMarx@MisterMarx.com. We can discuss the best way forward and make any necessary adjustments to our schedule or approach.

  • Feedback and Suggestions: I believe in a positive and growth-oriented environment and am always open to feedback and suggestions on how we can improve these policies.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in creating a respectful, committed, and growth-focused learning environment. Together, we can make this a place where everyone thrives in their mathematical journey.
